NEET UG 2026 candidates can use the Medical Counselling Committee’s unlock or reset option to correct registration errors. The correction window is open until 11am on August 12.
Round-one choice filling covers MBBS, BDS and other undergraduate medical programmes. Candidates can add, remove or reorder colleges until the choice-locking window, which runs from 4pm on August 12 to 11am on August 13.
Once choices are locked they cannot be changed. Seat allocation is scheduled for August 17 and will depend on rank, choices, reservation rules and available seats.
Candidates should download a copy of the locked list and verify every spelling, category and preference before the deadline. A small registration error can create a larger problem at reporting.
